The Coordinator of Student Support Services plays a key role in advancing support for high-priority student populations, particularly for English Language Learners and culturally diverse students. Under the direction of department leadership, this position is essential to addressing regional service needs and expanding access to targeted resources. Key Responsibilities include: Oversee the Evaluation Center operations, including interpretation and translation services Coordinate and facilitate professional learning for clinicians Supervise new vendor vetting and onboarding Oversee quality review with Manage contract reviews for evaluations, clinical services, and interpretation and translation services. The Coordinator will lead a team and collaborate with specialized consultants to support school districts in areas such as: Comprehensive & Psychological Evaluations Neuropsychological Appraisals Educational Evaluations Dynamic Assessment Methods & Techniques Social Histories Speech and Language Evaluations Multilingual and Bilingual Evaluations Audiological & Behavioral Consultations Guidance, Special Education, and PPS Program Reviews Neurological & Psychiatric Consultations Shared Resources (School Psychologists, School Counselors, School Social Workers) The Coordinator will also work closely with department leaders to support the following: In-District Specialized Services Regional Professional Learning Additional projects aligned with department initiatives The Coordinator will be responsible for providing exceptional educational leadership in the services identified above, as well as working closely with districts to anticipate future service needs and to meet them in a cost-effective manner. QUALIFICATIONS: New York State administrative certification required (SAS, SDA, SDL). Experience in Pupil Personnel Services and/or Special Education required. Bilingual or multilingual candidates, both with oral and written fluency and proficiency preferred.
