Duties: Putnam Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates a full-time vacancy for a Spanish GED Teacher to work with high school students enrolled in our Pre GED/GED program. The successful candidate will teach Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies in Spanish, provide test preparation for students taking the GED exam in Spanish, and support students in achieving their academic and career readiness goals within our high school Pre GED/GED program. Qualifications: Candidate must possess a valid NYS classroom teaching certificate. Bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish are preferred , and experience preparing students for the GED in Spanish is preferred . This is a full-time, tenure track position.
