Duties: Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates operating a 6-week ESY Program for students with disabilities from July 1, 2026 through August 11, 2026. Speech and Language Pathologist candidates are needed to provide related services as required on student IEPs. Must have the ability to function as a positive and contributing member of our BOCES team.To begin July 1, 2026 (Only those who can work the full 6-week program and those who are available to attend the ESY Orientation on June 11, 2026 at 3:00 PM need apply).Qualifications: Appropriate New York State certification in Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicap required. Candidate must also possess a valid Certificate of Clinical Competency issued by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.Characteristics Desired: Extensive knowledge of instructional approaches for students with autism, emotional/behavioral disorders and/or multiple disabilities. Must be driven, organized and have the ability to positively manage students. Successful candidates must have a positive, can-do attitude and be committed to the BOCES Mission of Service and Innovation through Partnership.
