Duties: Putnam Northern Westchester BOCES is seeking an Assistant Director of Leadership and Student Support Services to provide visionary leadership, supervision, and strategic direction across the region. This leader will oversee staff and services, strengthen partnerships with colleges and communities, and design innovative programming that responds to the evolving needs of schools and students. Key Responsibilities include:Provide leadership and supervision for staff, services, and initiatives within the department;Manage and expand college partnerships and oversee program development;Review, negotiate, and monitor contracts and agreements with districts, higher education, and service providers;Advance equity, opportunity, access, and belonging through culturally responsive practices and innovative programming;Represent L&SSS regionally and statewide through collaboration, facilitation, and strategic leadership.The Assistant Director of Leadership and Student Support Services will:Supervise program specialists, coordinators, and liaisons to ensure quality service delivery and accountability;Oversee regional and in-district professional learning, collegial circles, and leadership institutes;Coordinate and expand early college access initiatives and higher education partnerships;Develop and implement new programming to grow CoSers that are aligned with emerging district priorities;Lead contract review and assist in negotiation processes, ensuring compliance and alignment with department goals;Use data to evaluate program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement;Build and sustain partnerships with districts, community organizations, and higher education institutions;Promote a culture of reflection, service, innovation, and excellence across all department work.Qualifications: New York State administrative certification required (SAS, SDA, SBL, SDL). Central Office District Leadership experience preferred.
