Duties: Putnam Northern-Westchester BOCES anticipates the need for a teacher to provide instruction to high school students enrolled within Electrical/Residential Wiring Career & Technical Education program. This appointment will include a 4-year probationary period and lead to a possible recommendation for Tenure.Qualifications: Must possess a CTE teacher certificate in the area of Career and Technical Education Teacher Electrical 7-12 or be willing to obtain NYS Teaching Certification. Must have experience in the Electrical field.Characteristics Desired: Background in automotive field and experience teaching/working with high school students highly preferred. Successful candidates must have a positive, can-do attitude and be committed to the BOCES Mission of Service and Innovation through Partnership.
