Duties: Putnam Northern-Westchester BOCES anticipates the need for a teacher to provide instruction to high school students enrolled within the basic auto mechanics Career & Technical Education programs. This appointment will include a 4-year probationary period and lead to a possible recommendation for Tenure.Qualifications: Candidate must hold NY State certification in Vehicle Repair and Maintenance 7-12.Characteristics Desired: Background in automotive field and experience teaching/working with high school students highly preferred. Successful candidate must have a positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to the PNW BOCES Mission of Service and Innovation through Partnership. Candidates must be highly organized, flexible, and have effective communication and problem-solving skills.
