Duties: The School Psychologist serves as a short-term leave replacement for school districts through the Guidance & Child Study Center at PNW BOCES.The School Psychologists needs to:Provide individual or group sessions addressing areas like social skills, executive functioning, and decision-making.Provide counseling to promote personal growth and social emotional wellness.Facilitate and participate in CST, RTI, and other related meetings.Collaborate with parents, teachers, students, and district leaders.Coordinate with staff to understand and support individual student needs, including those with special requirements.Conduct psychological assessments and recommend strategies to support student learning and well-being.Ensure accurate and organized record-keeping and promote parental involvement in education.Continuously enhance professional knowledge through seminars, workshops, research, and networking.Other duties as needed.Qualifications: Certified NYS School PsychologistCharacteristics Desired: Must demonstrate a positive, proactive attitude with a strong commitment to the PNW BOCES core value of creating pathways to success for every student.
