Duties: Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates the need for a Bilingual Teaching Assistant to help in the translation of CTE curriculum to ENL students enrolled in CTE programs. Candidate must be able to work with advanced ELL students as well as ENL students with special needs. Candidate must be able to clearly convey CTE curricula to ENL students enrolled in CTE programs.Qualifications: Must be properly certified or working towards the certification by the New York State Education Department to work as a Teaching Assistant. Must be bilingual.Characteristics Desired: Ability to work with students and staff in a CTE classroom setting and provide clear and accurate assistance to students in the program. Successful candidates must have a positive, can-do attitude and be committed to the BOCES Mission of Service and Innovation through Partnership.
