Duties: Putnam|Northern Westchester BOCES is currently seeking candidates for paid internship positions in local public school districts. These opportunities are open to graduate students who are pursuing an MPS (Master’s) in Teaching or a related field. Learn from master teachers while working directly with students in one of our partner districts (Chappaqua, Harrison, Katonah-Lewisboro, Lakeland, North Salem, Peekskill, Port Chester, Scarsdale or Somers). Work four days per week in a public school setting supporting students and teachers while having on-the-job training.Qualifications: Currently applying or enrolled in a Master’s Degree in Teaching or extended certification program (in SWD, TESOL, etc.)Characteristics Desired: Must have a positive attitude, be flexible and willing to learn. Must demonstrate excellent communication and a passion for teaching.
