Duties: Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates the need for a Business Instructor to provide instruction to students in CTE trade program. Initiatives include entrepreneurship and formation of a school store. Candidate should possess strong skills in a wide variety of Business and Marketing. Must be a good independent worker. Must work well with a wide and diverse range of adolescents and have strong communication skills. Qualifications: Business & Marketing K-12 Certification required. Applicant should possess the following skills:Knowledge of curriculum development, teaching methods, classroom management techniques and lesson plan development.Prefer candidates with a Work Based Learning ExtensionCharacteristics Desired: Successful candidate must have a positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to the PNW BOCES Mission of Service and Innovation through Partnership. Candidates must be highly organized, flexible, and have effective communication and problem-solving skills.
