Duties: Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates operating a 6-week ESY Program for students with disabilities from July 3, 2023 through August 11, 2023. Music Teacher candidates are needed to provide instruction to school aged students. Must have the ability to function as a positive and contributing member of our BOCES team.Qualifications: Appropriate New York State Education Department certification in Music.Characteristics Desired: Extensive knowledge of instructional approaches for students with autism, emotional/behavioral disorders and/or multiple disabilities. Must be driven, organized and have the ability to positively manage students. Successful candidates must have a positive, can-do attitude and be committed to the BOCES Mission of Service and Innovation through Partnership.
