The Pleasantville UFSD is seeking a Certified School Psychologist for a full-time probationary position at Pleasantville High School. Primary responsibilities include supporting students' academic, social, and emotional well-being by conducting assessments, providing counseling, and developing intervention plans. School Psychologists collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators daily to create supportive learning environments and address students' diverse needs. Additionally, they assist in crisis intervention, special education evaluations, and the implementation of positive behavioral strategies. Candidates must be certified in New York State as a School Psychologist. Preference will be given to doctoral level candidates and candidates who also hold New York State licensure in Psychology. Candidates with experience working with students in therapeutic programs in school settings are encouraged to apply.
