The Peru Central School District expects to appoint an individual to the following position for the 2023 - 2024 school year:Program Administrator/Director of TechnologyAnticipated Assignment: 12-month; Districtwide Responsibilities May Include: Oversee the technology department and ensure all systems are running efficiently and effectivelyDevelop and implement technology policies, procedures, and best practices for technology use and integrationManage and maintain all hardware, software, and network systems Coordinate and oversee technology-related training for staff and facultyEnsure the physical and cyber security and integrity of all data and information systemsMust be efficient and prepared for streamlining technology systems from onboarding new employees, patch management, asset management and replacement cyclesProvide excellent leadership and customer service to all staff and faculty membersLead evaluations of staff and faculty, ensuring all evaluations are completed in a timely and professional mannerProvide administrative support for discipline in the Elementary School for PreK-5Be an innovative, visionary instructional leader focused on meaningful technology integration and programming while ensuring equity for all Qualifications: School District Administrator (SDA) School District Leader (SDL) or School Building Supervisor (SBS) School Building Leader (SBL)Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field At least five (5) years of experience in a technology leadership roleExperience managing technology systems in a K-12 educational environmentExperience leading and conducting staff evaluationsExcellent communication and customer service skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong attention to detail and accuracy Compensation: We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, a salary range of $80,000 - $94,500, as well as the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative educational environment.
