The Peru Central School District expects to appoint an individual to the following position for the 2022 - 2023 school year:1.0 FTE Teaching Assistant (TA)Anticipated Assignment:• PreK-12, Elementary Program currently Responsibilities May Include:• Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences • Provide student support and accommodate students’ individual academic, social, physical and behavioral needs while working under the direction of teachers and therapists• Work collaboratively on instructional teams along with all student support service personnel and nursing personnel• Assist with basic life skills, hygiene and toileting• Assist with attendance and record keeping • Other duties per contractCompensation: • Commensurate with qualifications and experienceIndividuals interested in this posting must hold appropriate licenses/certifications.
