Work hours—flexible between normal school hours of 9am-4pm; 17.5 hours per week; year-round position; school breaks are considered working daysCandidates should possess the following qualifications:Independent, resourceful in completing assigned tasksSolid computer application skillsAbility to maintain confidentialityGood interpersonal skillsAccurate and detailed orientedJob responsibilities include assisting the Executive Director of HR and Leadership with:Onboarding new employees with respect to new hire paperwork, coordinating technology and building access and checking for fingerprint clearance with NY StateEntering and maintaining personnel records in the nVision accounting systemCoordinating interviews District-wide, including instructional personnel, substitutes, clerical, custodial, interns, and other support staffMaintaining employee accounts in accounting, attendance and professional development software and maintaining lists of active and trained employees by locationInputting absences and providing attendance reports to employeesPreparing Civil Service canvass letters and tracking responsesMaintaining staff data for New York State reporting purposesPosting notification of vacant positionsPreparing appointment letters for new personnelAssistance in coordinating teacher evaluationsMaintaining personnel filesMaintaining records with regards to use of sick banks for each bargaining unitPreparing purchase orders and records of spending for the HR OfficeObtaining and organizing information related to student teachers, interns and observers
