Thomas A. Edison School is seeking a dedicated and passionate elementary dual language teacher to join our team as a leave replacement from October 15, 2025, through March 27, 2026. This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic educational environment. The ideal candidate must be bilingual (Spanish) and possess a strong commitment to fostering academic growth, creativity, and social-emotional development in young learners.Key Responsibilities:Provide instruction in core subjects, including Math, Reading, Writing, and Social Studies.Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state and district standards.Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and parents to support student learning.Manage classroom behavior and implement effective classroom management strategies.Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events as needed.Additional Certifications:Bilingual Extension (Spanish)
