It is anticipated that the following positions will be available for Summer 2025 for CSE Bilingual Special education evaluations, as required by NYSED:Bilingual (Spanish/English) Special Education TeachersBilingual (Spanish/English) Speech and Language Therapists NYSED Certification Requirements:Valid New York State Certificate Students with Disabilities (All Grades) and Bilingual extensionorValid New York State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist (All Grades) and Bilingual extension Duties:Complete mandated testing and written report adhering to NYSED Part 200 of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education inclusive of the requirements for Individual Evaluations of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse English Language Learners Ages 3 through 21 as per this memorandum: https://www.nysed.gov/sites/default/files/programs/bilingual-ed/memo_sped_field_advisory.pdfPlan properly to attend meetings by ensuring that reports are completed prior to the meetings to share with parents and other members of the committee.Confirm that present levels of performance statements and evaluation data are available for review at the meeting.At meetings, complete all required entries for the elements of a document determined by the outcome of each meeting.Collaborate with other colleagues and parents to guarantee fidelity to the cooperative process required by regulations for the meetings and follow-up.Be timely and responsive to committee members.Complete other related duties as assigned by the Director or Supervisors of Special Education.
