District Wide Speech-Language PathologistPort Chester Schools is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. We are looking for an individual who can effectively assess and provide therapy to students with communication disorders.Responsibilities:Assess the communication skills of students.Plan, organize, and conduct speech and language therapy with students.Maintain and review student records.Evaluate student progress and prepare reports that display their progress.Meet with parents and teachers to communicate information pertaining to the students’ progress.Provide support and updates to classroom teachers.Provide students, teachers, and families with written materials and documentation.Make recommendations and referrals as needed.Research resources and treatment methods for students.Maintain professional training by attending workshops.Perform other job duties as assigned.Qualifications:Valid New York State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist (All Grades).Experience working with students with communication disorders.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports.
