RESPONSIBILITIES: Experience facilitating/participating in CSE Meetings Provides individual/group counseling for classified students Responsible for reviewing/drafting psycho-education evaluations Responsible for assessment of the learning environment, including observation of behavior and direct and indirect data collection Experience in crisis intervention Must be detail-oriented and possess problem solving skills Must have knowledge of IEP Direct Must be skilled in verbal and written communication, and have strong interpersonal skills Must be flexible, adaptable and be able to manage multiple priorities REPORTS TO : Academic Director/Building Administration/Assistant Superintendent for Special Education and Pupil Services SALARY : Salary range in accordance with PMCT contract EFFECTIVE : September 2026 EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS : All costs associated with these employment requirements are the responsibility of the employee: Fingerprint clearance from the NY State Department of Education (NYSED) Drug Screening Physical Examination Patchogue-Medford Schools is an equal opportunity employer.
