ANTICIPATED LEAVE REPLACEMENT POSITION AVAILABLE 2025-2026 POSTING # 214-25-26 APPLICATION DEADLINE: February 13, 2026 POSITION: Guidance Counselor Leave Replacement REQUIREMENTS: Must possess or be eligible for New York State School Guidance Counselor Certification RESPONSIBILITIES:Must be an active student advocate that encourages student voice.Works with students on academic planning and goal setting. Provides short term counseling: individual, group, and crisis intervention as needed.Collaboration with teachers, administration, families, and outside resources.Employs data driven decision making in order to provide proactive remediation and intervention.Works to improve equity, access, achievement, and opportunities for all students. QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:Prior experience at the high school level preferred. COMMENTS: Must be creative and passionate instructional leader who possesses the ability to motivate students to strive for academic excellence. Successful candidates will work in a fast paced, challenging environment that is dedicated to academic and social success for all students.
