RESPONSIBILITIES:Plan lessons, deliver high quality instruction, grade student work, maintain a record of grades, correspond with parents and effectively communicate with studentsEnsure awareness of and compliance with student IEPsUtilize curriculum resources and differentiate instruction to meet learner support needsIntegrate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plansDeliver instruction and provide support for student social emotional learningPrepare for and participate in student CSE meetings to facilitate student progress and aide in the identification of plans to address student support needsAccess and competently utilize IEP program to progress monitor for student goals and for IEP completionAttend and participate in Special Education Department meetings and complete required Professional DevelopmentUtilize curricula that reflect the diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds of the students servedPreferred knowledge of transition services and processes.
