The Coordinator of the Community Schools Summer Career Exploration Camp will oversee the daily operations and logistics of a week-long camp for students entering grades 5 and 6. The Coordinator will lead a team of educators and community partners in creating an immersive career exploration experience that is developmentally appropriate, interdisciplinary and highly engaging. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate the logistics of a week-long camp, including registration, scheduling, transportation and meals. Identify and develop systems to meet students’ individual medical, learning and support needs. Facilitate curriculum planning and staff orientation. Act as the primary point of contact for school districts and families. Oversee the daily schedule for up to 300 students, 20 staff members, and dozens of community partners to create an engaging learning experience for every student. Support the planning and execution of the culminating student showcase, family celebration and Open House. Collaboratively develop and implement a positive behavior support system, utilizing restorative practices, all members of the learning community feel safe, included, and empowered. QUALIFICATIONS: Valid NYS teaching certification is required. Leadership experience and valid school or district leader or intern certification preferred. PROGRAM SCHEDULE: July 13-17, 2026 Monday-Friday 8:00 am -3:00 pm (student day 8:30-2:30) Location: CiTi BOCES Mexico Campus COMPENSATION: Compensation for current CiTi staff is their per diem rate. Compensation for non-CiTi employees is $53.79/hour or $56.00/ hour with master’s degree
