We are seeking passionate and dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our Extended School Year program this summer. This is a six-week opportunity to make a meaningful impact in students’ learning and growth through interactive instruction, creative engagement, and individualized support. Program Dates:July 8 – All Staff Orientation July 9 – Additional Staff Orientation (Teachers, Related Service Providers, and Nurses only) July 13 – August 21 – Student SessionStaff Hours (Student Session): 8:15 AM – 2:45 PMStudent Hours: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM The ESY program offers:Interactive, hands-on learning experiencesOpportunities for outdoor activities and creativitySmall-group and individualized instructional supportA collaborative and supportive team environmentThe chance to help students continue skill development in a positive summer settingIdeal candidates will:Hold NYSED Students with Disabilities certificationHave experience working with diverse learnersBe passionate about student growth and engagementCollaborate effectively with program staff and familiesCreate inclusive and supportive learning environments Internal candidates may follow the process that the Exceptional Education office set forth through expressing interest via the Google Survey sent out and therefore do not need to submit an application to the HR office.Multiple positions are available across various locations throughout the county. Orientation will be provided to ensure all staff are prepared and supported in their roles.
