CiTi BOCES is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Special Education Teacher to join the CTE Advantage Program. The program fosters student success by promoting high school graduation, career readiness, and personal development through purposeful instruction and authentic learning opportunities. The successful candidate will work closely with students, support staff, and academic teachers to help each learner achieve success. Responsibilities:Providing Direct Consultant Teaching (DCT) services within the CTE Advantage ProgramTeach & support students directlyAdapt & differentiate instruction and materialsImplement students’ IEP/504Advocate & communicate with related stakeholdersSupport student progress in academic, career-readiness, and transition goalsMonitor & maintain IEPs and 504 plans in accordance with NYS regulationsCollaborate closely with CTE Advantage & CTE program teachers to plan instruction, provide student support, and share feedback to enhance learning outcomesCommunicate regularly with component district CSE chairs, counselors, and instructional teams*Other duties as assigned Qualifications:NYS Certification in Students with Disabilities (7–12) or equivalent requiredExperience supporting high school students in alternative, special education, or transition-based programs preferredStrong skills in collaboration, communication, and organization
