CiTi BOCES is hiring an experienced machining professional to teach Intro to Machine Tools I. The ideal candidate will guide students through the foundational principles and hands-on skills needed for careers in precision machining and manufacturing.Responsibilities:Teach the safe use of machine tools, including lathes, mills, and grindersDemonstrate measurement techniques and blueprint readingSupervise hands-on machining exercisesEvaluate student progress and provide constructive feedbackPlan an authentic final project in which students apply their machining skills to create a functional or precision-crafted componentRequired Skills & Qualifications:Proficiency in the operation and safety of manual machine toolsIndustry experience in machining or manufacturingAbility to interpret technical drawings and tolerancesStrong communication and instructional skillsTeaching experience is a plusProgram Duration: 6 Weeks Location: CiTi BOCES, Mexico Campus Time/Days of the Week: TBD by InstructorStipend: $6,000
