The CiTi Alternative Education program is looking for a dynamic and courageous educator to lead a classroom of students in grades 6-8. This population of students thrive within a learning environment that focuses on affirmation, community and belonging. Additionally, these students require an innovative approach to learning along with project-based experiences, individualized learning, student voice and choice, and exposure to an online platform allowing access to enriched content. See below for details.Who - Students in grades 6-8 who struggle in a traditional school environment and require focused support and intervention around social emotional development. Where - Central Square Middle SchoolWhat - Middle Level Behavior Intervention Program within the Alternative Education Department. A maximum of 6-8 students with a classroom teaching assistant and counselor support.Current CiTi educators are encouraged to apply.
