Position: One (1) full-time, 10-month, Probationary, Teacher Unit position located at NCOC in Grand Gorge.Qualifications and Responsibilities: Applicants must possess or be eligible for a NYS Career and Technical Education (CTE) certification. High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of four (4) years of paid occupational experience or an associate’s degree or higher in a related field with a minimum of two (2) years of paid experience required. Applicants must be able to provide proof of paid occupational experience. NYSED fingerprint clearance is required.ONC BOCES will assist the chosen applicant in obtaining the required NYS teaching certification if needed.Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required. Applicant should have a broad knowledge base of the automotive service industry in the areas of vehicle performance and repair, and prior experience working within a vehicle repair facility as a certified mechanic would be beneficial.
