Middle School Technology Teacher - Anticipated probationary - 26/27Description: The Oceanside School District is seeking an engaging and innovative Middle School Technology Teacher who is passionate about engineering and STEM principles and dedicated to inspiring middle level learners. The ideal candidate designs student-centered learning experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving. Instruction emphasizes real-world STEM applications, allowing students to explore how ideas move from concept to creation through design challenges, collaboration, and iteration. The Middle School Technology Teacher works closely with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning and align instruction with grade-level goals. Responsibilities include guiding students through engineering design processes and integrating digital tools and coding responsibly. Strong classroom management, clear communication, and a growth-oriented mindset are essential, as is a commitment to helping middle school students develop both technical skills and the perseverance needed to tackle complex challenges.Certification in K-12 Technology Education is required.
