Science Aide works with classroom teachers in preparing materials and equipment for use in the science labs to facilitate classwork and enrichment activities. Science Aide is responsible for ordering classroom supplies and maintaining inventory. Must be able to communicate effectively with teachers, work independently and as part of a team and have good organizational and people skills. The position is 30 hours per week in 2 school buildings. $15.46/hour, benefits eligbile. Must provide proof of high school graduation and obtain fingerprint clearance through the NYS TEACH system.The Oceanside School District is a leader in educational excellence and student achievement.
