UPK Teachers needed for the 26/27 school year. We are seeking a nurturing, creative, and dedicated Pre-Kindergarten Teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and fostering a love of learning in young children. The ideal candidate will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment where students can grow socially, emotionally, and academically through play, exploration, and meaningful interactions. Key Responsibilities: Implement developmentally appropriate lessons that support early literacy, numeracy, social-emotional growth, and motor development. Create a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and a joy for learning. Use play-based and inquiry-driven approaches to engage students in hands-on learning experiences. Support early literacy development through storytelling, read-alouds, and phonemic awareness activities. Foster positive relationships with students, promoting confidence, cooperation, and respect. Observe, assess, and document student progress, using data to inform instruction and support individual needs. Collaborate with colleagues and staff to support a cohesive early childhood program. Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive classroom environment. Qualifications/Compensation: Elementary Education Pre-K-6 or Early Childhood B-2 certification REQUIRED. Must be certified. $40/per hour, 6.25 hours per day, 184 days per year (annualized salary of $46,000 per year).
