City School District of New RochelleEmbracing Diversity: Driving Success The City School District of New Rochelle is seeking a dual certified secondary 7-12 students with Disabilities and either English, Social Studies, Science, or Mathematics Teacher as a probationary position for the 2022-2023 School Year. Appropriate NYS Certification in both areas are required. Responsibilities include:Carrying out and maintaining all instructional aspects of a student’s IEP.Completing progress reports and Annual Review reports for the IEPs.Delivering classroom instructional programs and adjusting based on the needs of the students.Monitoring and assessing student progress and behavior.Maintaining a classroom environment that is conducive for instruction.Ability to work with a diverse population.Ability to individualize instruction in a classroom setting.Ability to work collaboratively with others.Preparing for and attending CSE meetings.Serving as a case manager for assigned students.
