Speech PathologistSign On Bonus - $5.000 (paid in 2 parts)Follows school calendar which includes 50 days off with an additional sick time We have an exciting opportunity join our team. The position provides Speech Therapy services to the school and the amazing students that we have. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Provide individual and group speech and language therapy in person and via teletherapy.Provide diagnostic speech and language evaluations/screenings.Write, maintain and chart records of children approved for speech/language therapy.Confer with classroom teachers in preparing daily speech and language activities for children in the Special Education Program.Complete initial and on-going evaluations as needed.Develop and implement IEP/IFSP goals and objectives.Provide direct play-based child oriented therapy.Assist in the supervision of individual children and groups (progress monitoring)Complete reports, therapy notes, progress monitoring, and logs according to applicable time requirements.Supervise the Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) staff working under their direction, and complete supervision documentation as required.EXPERIENCERequires at least one year experience working with students K-12 with developmental disabilities. Knowledge of diagnostic, assessments and report writing. Familiarity with therapeutic diagnostics, assessments and report writing. Familiarity with therapeutic approaches dealing with language, articulation and oral-motor skills.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEMasters Degree in Speech Pathology.CERTIFICATION / LICENSURENYS Certification, license and ASHA CertificationApply on OLAS
