This position is responsible to provide art education that follows the NYS standards to children grades K-12. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assignedMaintain and organize art materials and equipment,Provide therapeutic art instruction to individuals, small groups, and classrooms,Provide leadership in a variety of school-wide art events and activities,Work with school administration to deliver art experiences to students in a variety of school-wide venues on the agency campus,Represent the school in Capital Region art events and activities.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEMasters/Bachelors degree in Art Education.NYS certification in Art Education.
