Sign on Bonus: $5,000Position SummaryThe Preschool Speech Therapist will provide speech therapy services for the Preschool program.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Employees are expected to be awake and alert while working.Provide individual and group speech and language therapy.Provide diagnostic speech and language evaluations/screenings.Write, maintain, and chart records of children approved for speech/language therapy.Confer with classroom teachers in preparing daily speech and language activities for children in the Special Education Program.Complete initial and ongoing evaluations as needed.Develop and implement IEP/IFSP goals and objectives.Provide direct play-based child-oriented therapy.Attend case conferences/CPSE/EI team meetings as requested.Education and/or ExperienceBachelor’s degree required.Over 6 months to 1 year of experience.Certification/LicensureNYS Certification of Speech and Hearing
