The North Shore Central School District, located on the North Shore of Long Island, is seeking a highly qualified art teacher. We are looking for a dynamic artist and teacher who is passionate about art and that will foster a love and appreciation of art. The candidate should be committed to focusing on the process of creating and in supporting students in developing skills and techniques that will help them express their ideas using a variety of mediums and art tools. In addition, the candidate should embody the characteristics of an innovative thinker and have experience using technology and software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. This is a probationary position. Teaching responsibilities Include: Teaching grades 6 - 12 Visual Art Classes
