We are seeking a highly motivated ESOL teacher to join our school district. As an ESOL teacher, you will work with students and help them develop their language skills in order to achieve academic success.Responsibilities:Plan, develop, and implement ESOL instruction that aligns with the district's curriculum and standardsUse a variety of teaching strategies and materials to meet the needs of students with diverse backgrounds and learning stylesAssess student progress and adjust instruction as necessaryCollaborate with other teachers and staff to support students' academic and social-emotional growthCommunicate regularly with families about their child's progress and provide support for home language developmentParticipate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in ESOL instructionRequirements:New York State teaching certification in ESOL or eligibility for certificationExperience working with diverse student populations, particularly English language learnersStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
