The New Interdisciplinary School is now hiring for NYS Certified Special Education Preschool Teacher with ABA experience. We are seeking an enthusiastic Preschool teacher, with at least 1 year experience working as a Special Education Teacher with children on the autism spectrum. Knowledge of best practice, curriculum and assessment a must.Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.- Provide specialized instruction to support the development of communication and social skills.- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to address challenging behaviors.- Collaborate with parents, therapists, and other educators to create a supportive learning environment.- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.- Stay current on best practices in special education and early childhood development.
