Speech Language Pathologist The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides direct individual and group therapy to students with speech and language needs as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), conducts screenings and comprehensive evaluations, and contributes to Section 504 and Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings, and collaborates with educators and related service providers to develop effective interventions. In addition to direct service, the SLP offers consultation to classroom and special education teachers to support student success across educational settings. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Effectively manage a diverse caselaod, delivering speech and language services aligned with each studemt's Individualized Education Plan (IEP).Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations to identify students with speech and language difficulties and determine eligibility for services.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and review IEPs and targeted intervention plans that support student success.Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes and reports, while ensuring clear communication with teachers, families, related service providers, and support staff.CT CERTIFICATION or NY CERTIFICATION with the ability to apply for CT
