DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: The Newfield Elementary School is committed to providing a safe, healthy environment and a positive, enthusiastic atmosphere for our students. Qualified candidates will be responsible for instructing small and large groups in general education. This position will work with elementary students in pre-kindergarten and will assume the responsibilities of planning curriculum, managing a classroom, working with students at multiple levels, and creating open communication with parents and staff. Responsibilities also include participation in school-wide events. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement differentiated lessons using evidence-based early childhood instructional strategies. Work in collaboration with teachers, teaching assistants, therapists, and families to promote student growth. Facilitate inclusive play, social-emotional learning, and language-rich activities. Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing environment aligned with early childhood best practices. Implement classroom routines, behavioral supports, and positive reinforcement techniques.
