Anticipated Vacancy for 2026-2027 Cook 10 month position 7:30a-2:30p (Hours) Under the Direction of the Food Service Director the Cook will : * Execute large scale food preparation of the School Breakfast and Lunch Program. * Operate all cooking equipment including ovens, steamer, stove, and slicer. * Supervise and direct kitchen employees in the preparation and serving of food. * Maintain all kitchen records including production records, ordering, inventory, and staff time sheets. * Complete weekly requisitioning of food products. *Maintain a secure and sanitary environment appropriate for food preparation in accordance with Suffolk County Health Codes. *Suffolk County Board of Health Food Manager's Certificate required.
