Robert Moses Middle School, located in North Babylon, NY, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated World Language Teacher to join our faculty for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a probationary tenure track position beginning on August 27, 2025.Responsibilities Include:Teaching world language courses to middle school students in alignment with NYS Standards and district curriculumCreating an engaging, student-centered learning environment that fosters language acquisition and cultural understandingUtilizing a variety of instructional strategies and technology to support diverse learnersAssessing student progress and providing ongoing feedback to students and familiesCollaborating with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student successParticipating in school and district professional development and initiativesQualifications:Valid New York State certification in a World Language (Spanish, French, Italian, etc.)Demonstrated knowledge of second language acquisition and proficiency-based instructionStrong classroom management skills and a passion for teaching middle school studentsCommitment to fostering an inclusive and culturally responsive learning environment
