The Department of Curriculum, Instruction and Technology is seeking School Social Worker to provide creation, dissemination and maintenance of anti-vaping materials and programs to school districts throughout Nassau County. This position is funded by JUUL settlement funds through the 2030-2031 school year. The successful candidate will focus on the implementation of anti-vaping programs and resources. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Providing training and information to school district staff on anti-vaping materials, campaigns and resourcesDeveloping and maintaining student and faculty resources focused on anti-vaping effortsAttending countywide meetings and presentationsMaintaining accurate, appropriate, and timely records and reportsTraveling to Nassau County school districts and communicating with district staff.
