Description:The Department of Special Education is seeking a School Psychologist for Jerusalem Avenue School. The duties of the School Psychologist will consist of delivering parent and staff trainings on relevant topics, providing social and emotional learning development and IEP mandated counseling, assisting with the development/implementation of Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), participating in crisis interventions and trainings as needed, collaborating with a multidisciplinary group of staff to support student needs, conducting parent and district outreach, attending annual review meetings, participating in screenings, and performing any other duties assigned by building administrators.Requirements:* NYSED Certification as a School Psychologist is required* NYS Licensure as a Psychologist is preferred* Experience with FBAs and BIPs as well as students with disabilities is preferredApply on OLAS and Click here to complete application
