The Nassau BOCES Adult Education Program is seeking part-time educators to teach English as a Second Language classes during the 2022-2023 school year. Educators will fulfill all teaching responsibilities for the assigned course in an inclusive working and learning environment.Location:- Levittown (Mondays - Thursdays 9:00AM - 1:00PM)Responsibilities:- Actively engage students in the delivery of high-quality ESL and literacy instruction- Maintaining accurate attendance and testing paperwork- Attending bimonthly faculty meetings and fulfilling 14 hours of NYS mandated professional developmentRequirements:- Appropriate NYSED Teaching Certification is required- Prior experience as a teacher and/or adult educator is preferred
