Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:• Conduct speech and language re-evaluations for special education students • Deliver group and individual speech services, as per student IEP mandates• Maintain accurate records, speech logs and Medicaid related documents• Collaborate with teachers, parents and districts Requirements: • NYS Certification - Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped/Teacher of Speech Language Disabilities • Preferred - NYS Speech Language Pathology license and/or American Speech Language Hearing Association – Certificate of Clinical Competence• Experience working with children & adolescents with Autism and/or emotional and behavioral disorders highly desirable • Strong written and verbal communication skills
