JOB DESCRIPTION: The Moravia Central School District is now accepting applications for an anticipated probationary track for Adaptive Physical Education for the 2023-2024 school year.ASSIGNMENT: Adaptive Physical Education/6-12 Physical EducationProvides Adaptive Physical Education Services to students following their IEPs. Coordinates the Adaptive Recreation Program/Teams.Implements a physical education program for each child based on the above evaluations, personal observations, and medical and psychosocial histories as directed in the IEP.Writes behaviorally-stated goals and objectives for each student based on their IEP.QUALIFICATIONS:New York State Teacher Certification- Physical Education Pre K-1212 semester hours of Teacher prep in APE (preferred)HOW TO APPLY:Interested candidates should apply through OLAS online at www.olasjobs.org and upload a letter of interest, letters of recommendation, transcripts and certification to the attention of Todd Mulvaney, Athletic Director by April 21st, 2023.
