The Minerva Central School has an opening for a Spanish Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. The position is a 1.0 FTE tenure track position. Qualifications include:Possession of a valid NYS Teaching Certificate, or proof of completing an accredited NYS program and be eligible for certificationWorking knowledge of the NYS World Language StandardsStrong commitment to children and their progression through World Language curriculumStrong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skillsExperience working with all levels of studentsAbility to monitor and evaluate the progress of all studentsWillingness to effectively collaborate with team members, faculty, and administrationAbility to work effectively with parents and have knowledge of available resourcesDesire and ability to advocate for students based on relevant dataApplicants must upload all relevant materials, including: cover letter, resume, college transcripts, teaching certificates, and letters of recommendations, to your OLAS account.
