The Minerva Central School has an opening for a Living Environment/General Science or Earth Science/General Science teacher. The position is a 1.0 FTE tenure track position. Qualifications include:Must hold a valid NYS Living Environment Certificate, a valid NYS Earth Science Certificate, or proof of completing an accredited NYS program and be eligible for certification. Dual certification is preferred.A strong commitment to children.Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.Experience working with all levels of students.Monitor and evaluate the progress of students.Collaborate with team members, faculty, and administration.Work effectively with parents and have knowledge of resources.Advocate for students based on relevant data.Please upload all relevant materials to your OLAS account.
