Applicants must have a NYS Teacher Certification /SWD 1-6. The position is 10 months and operates on the school calendar. Salary and benefitswill be based on experience per contract. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop individualized educational plans based on student’s needs and goals. Develop and implement effective programs, accommodations and modifications. Familiarity with ClearTrack, data collection and progress monitoring Participate as part of a multidisciplinary team. Consult with classroom teachers and related service providers to incorporate appropriate accommodations, modifications and supplementary supports for students’ individual needs. Build positive relationships with students, parents, faculty, staff, and the broader school community. Provide Special Education service to Elementary Students with a range of disabilities Utilizing the continuum of special education services. Milford Central School is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
