Job Description:School Psychologist – Full Time ProbationaryWith approximately 350 students, Milford Central is a small rural school district in NY’s Southern Teir Region. We are seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist with a passion for teaching and learning. This is a full-time, tenure track, probationary position. NYS School Psychologist Certification required.The successful candidate will:Demonstrate competency in selecting and administering a range of cognitive, achievement, crisis, and social-emotional assessments.Effectiveness in utilizing results to guide interventions and IEP development.Lead prevention efforts by possessing a comprehensive knowledge of MTSS to support the growth and development of all students.Participate in student-based support meetings as needed.Offer direct consultation to the educational team to support those students with academic or behavioral difficulties.Participate in the development of functional behavioral assessments and behavior intervention plans, as well as safety risk assessments.Contribute to special education program development/evaluation that furthers the integration of best practices into the classroom.Milford Central School is an equal opportunity employer.
